Elliott Hall: Building Hours, Transportation, & Maps
Building Access Request: Complete this form if you need Elliott Hall access (u-card or key). Please allow 3 - 5 business days for processing.
- Authorizers: You can request removal of access through the Authorizer Portal for Building Access.
After-Hours Lockouts
If you are locked out of the building or your room after hours, you can contact the Public Safety Emergency Communications Center (PSECC) at (612) 624-7828 or (612) 626-3680 to request for someone to let you in. PSECC will contact the Department Facilities Representative (DFR) to verify whether you are approved for access.

Facilities Management (FM)
- Maintenance issues should be reported to the Central Office (N218, (612) 625-2546, psymain@umn.edu) The Central Office will report it to FM on your behalf.
- If the Central Office is closed, email FM (fmcc@umn.edu) or call (612) 624-2900. Please follow up with the Central Office about your issue.
Room Scheduling
Astra Scheduled Rooms
To submit a reservation request for any Department of Psychology-managed room in Elliott Hall, complete the Google Form (internet ID log-in is required). You will receive a confirmation via email when the reservation is made or a notification if there is a conflict.
Reoccurring reservations should only be made one semester at a time. If you want to reserve a room for subsequent semesters, you will need to fill out another Department of Psychology Room Reservation Request before the start of the new semester.
Note: Reservations may take up to 2 business days to be processed; plan accordingly.
Non-Astra Scheduled Rooms (Google Resources)
While users are scheduling their meetings through Google Calendar, you can reserve your space at the same time. To assist with this, here is a PDF and How-To video guide.
Psychology Computerized Assessment Center (PCAC) - S121
To submit a reservation request for the PCAC, complete the Knack Form. The room is a secured room, so requesters will need to submit their U Card information along with the request.
Dissertation Defense
Complete the online form. The Chair’s Office uses this form to reserve N219 for your defense.
Instructors or Section Leaders Looking to Change Classrooms
Contact Christina Wiencke or Heidi Wolff. This is a separate process.

If you need additional technology for your meeting, refer to your Equipment Checkout page.
Wellness/Lactation Room (S440)
This space has been made available for individuals to use if they need a private, locked space for brief periods. The room can be used for a wide variety of purposes such as; nursing and pumping, prayer, virtual appointments, etc.
