All faculty, staff, and students who handle University data are required under University policy to complie with the following data privacy and security practices.

DATA SECURITY TRAINING
The Psychology Chair's office requires that all research staff including students and volunteers take the following two training courses available through UM Training Hub:
- ISA101 - University Information Security Awareness Training
- HIP019 - HIPAA Training
HUMAN SUBJECT TRAINING
If you work directly with human subjects, you may need to complete training in the Responsible Conduct of Research.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING
You may also be required to complete additional training. Complete instructions can be found here.

What about data privacy for student grades? For anyone working with student grades, a tutorial on FERPA should be completed: FERPA Training (ca. 15 min)
