All UMN computing equipment needs to be removed from the UMN inventory system, all media needs to be properly sanitized, and all equipment needs to be properly recycled. Please review options for disposing of UMN computing equipment.
Capital Assets
All assets over $5000 (also known as Capital Assets), are tracked by the university. This equipment is regularly inventoried and needs to be managed according to UMN policy. To properly dispose of any piece of capital equipment, work with Departmental administration.
