The department has a poster printer and offers poster printing for faculty, graduate students, and staff. See details below.

Acceptable File Formats

  • Adobe PDF
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Google Slide

Poster Design Guidelines

  • Sizes:
    • Posters cannot be larger than 42” (either in height or width)
      • Our paper rolls have a  width of  36” or 42"
      • We are not able to print on fabric
    • Before designing your poster, set up the file (PowerPoint, Slides, etc) to the desired poster size
  • Must Include: 
  • Recommended Resolution: Minimum of 300 dots per inch (dpi)

Each faculty and graduate student is entitled to one voucher for one poster print per academic year.

You can also email the poster file or link to Silke Moeller (, including the poster size. Please allow two business days to process. 

We like to share your research in our Department of Psychology's weekly BrainWave newsletter. To do so, please provide us with these information:
  • the name and date of the conference/event you are presenting
  • a photo of you and your poster at the conference/event you presented
  • a short(!) summary of the research you are presenting, phrased for a general audience
