AppsToGo

AppsToGo allows you to use remotely delivered software on your computing device. AppsToGo is available for those with a UMN-related need at the University of Minnesota

AppsToGo: How-to, (quick reference sheet)

How to request access? 

  • For faculty, instructors, grad students, and staff: Submit the CLA Computing Resources Access Request Form (click “request service” in the upper right-hand corner).  Information to include on the request: Be specific about what App you need access to:  I am requesting SPSS access through the Elliott 150 VD AppsToGo. 
  • For undergraduate access (for courses, including Psy 5993): Instructors should contact Silke Moeller (smoeller@umn.edu). 
  • For individual undergraduates: Request access by contacting Silke Moeller (smoeller@umn.edu).
  • Elliott S121 Computer Assessment Center clients have access to AppsToGo. If students need specific software that is currently not installed, contact Silke Moeller (smoeller@umn.edu).

CLA Windows Terminal Server

  • wts.umn.edu is a Windows environment that can be accessed remotely using a Microsoft Remote Desktop Client. WTS hosts two pieces of Psychology-related software:  MPlus and NVivo.
