For your students to get credit for participating in REP studies,
1. they need to be in the REP student database (contact Liza Meredith)
2. they need to know how many points they can earn (that should be in your syllabus)
3. they need to know how they can sign up for REP studies
Before the semester starts, Liza Meredith will send an email and a google survey to the instructors of classes that typically offer REP points. If you are planning to offer REP to your students, the quickest and easiest way to make sure your students are included in the REP pool is just complete the survey. When you say, yes, you are offering REP points, the students in your class will be added to the REP student database. Liza also needs to know how may points you are offering (in order to make allocations).
If you don't get this email, or if you decide to offer REP later in the semester, please email Liza Meredith with the following:
How many points you will be offering.
Whether you are okay with REP researchers making announcements before your class (researchers need to coordinate that with you first, of course.)
At the end of the semester, you will get a spreadsheet with your students and the number of REP points they have earned.
